Yesterday Jobs announced that the new Intel-based Macs will be ready for market months ahead of schedule. Further that they are 2-3 times faster than old Motorola-based Macs. I am looking forward to getting one of those. I have not had a Mac in a while. I was one the 1984 original Mac owners and in fact started with my partner the University of Pennsylvania Mac Users Group, although few people know that fact.
But the new Macs are an example of innovation and integration of blended technology. You take the Intel chip, a Unix-based OS and Apple interface to create something that the worlds has not yet since. Good going Jobs. Let’s just keep Apple profitable
